UNIFORM CIVIL CODE is a directive principle of Bharat's Constitution but unfortunately could not become reality due to minority appeasement which was part of Nehruvian secularism.                                                        Muslims as Refugees.   Present day world is divided on the issue Muslim refugees, whether western countries should take in refugees from war torn Islamic countries or not. So called 'liberal' left is eager to take in Muslims to prove that they are not Islamophobic and partly justifying it that western powers have been major reason for the troubles there. But the other side, the right wingers, think that Muslims will be threat to law and order and cultural values of their countries and they refuse to mingle into the culture of these countries. So I thought of compiling how Muslims have behaved historically as a refugees or how they have behaved when someone approcahed them as refugee or how they have cause others to take refuge from them. There are number of times Quran derides some people as hypocrites. But what about Muhammad? Did he apply values or rules he expected his followers to follow to himself? Quran says that Muhammad is just a messenger but still allows him to break rules set for Muslims. 1 Maximum Number of women a Muslims can marry was fixed by Allah to 4 but Muhammad had more that 10 wives at one point in time. Muhammad even asked a person to divorce 4 four of his wives as he had 8 wives before conversion. 2. Islam allows women to remarry after death of their husband but Muhammad prevented his wives from remarrying. 3. Islam allows polygamy an Muhammad himself had many wives but he stopped Ali from marrying anyone other than his Daughter. Ali  married other women only after death of Fatima. 4.
